The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, has declared Monday, 8th January, 2024 as an additional Public Holiday to be observed throughout the country.
This was contained in a message signed by the Minister of Interior who is also the Member of Parliament for the Nandom Constituency, Mr. Ambrose Dery on the Ministry’s official website.

According to the message, the holiday is in view of the fact that the nation’s Constitution Day which is a Statutory Public Holiday falls on a Sunday, that is 7th January, 2024.
