The Government of Ghana, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Ghana Education Service (GES), is set to launch the National STEMbox for Basic Schools.
The launch of the STEMbox is scheduled for Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the Osu Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Accra, at 10:00 a.m., under the theme: ‘Igniting Curiosity, Building Futures: STEM for Every Ghanaian Child.’
The programme will be launched by H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana. Other personalities expected to grace the occasion include Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, Minister for Education; Prof. Ernest Kofi Davies, Director-General of the Ghana Education Service; selected basic school staff and students, among others.
According to reports, the STEMbox initiative aims to empower Ghanaian students with 21st-century skills and abilities at the basic education level.
