On July 9, 2025, in Accra, Ghana, Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson had the privilege of inaugurating the new Board of Directors for the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB).
The new ADB Board includes:
- Mr. Kenneth Kwamina Thompson – Chairperson
- Mr. Edward Ato Sarpong – Managing Director
- Hon. Andrew Dari Chiwitey
- Mr. Siisi Essuman-Ocran
- Hon. Dr. E. Prince Arhin
- Hon. Misbahu Mahama Adams
- Wing Commander Samuel J.A. Allotey
- Mr. Courage Akanwunge Asabagna
- Mr. Abdul Nasir M. Saani
At the event, Hon. Ato Forson emphasized that no country develops without sustained agricultural progress.
He therefore tasked the new board to remain focused and guided by their primary mandate—serving Ghana’s agricultural sector.
The Finance Minister assured the board and management: “I will capitalize ADB next year.”
On behalf of the Board, Chairperson Mr. Kenneth Kwamina Thompson expressed appreciation to the Minister and the President for the honor, and pledged their readiness to carry out their mandate with diligence.
