Labone Senior High School in Accra of the Greater Accra Region has been devastated by fire outbreak.
According to sources, the fire incidence occured in three girls’ dormitories on Sunday March 16, 2025, night.
The authorities of the school quickly call the Ghana Fire Service for their rescue. The Ghana Fire Service swiftly intervene to quench the fire.
The unexpected fire outbreak made some of the students to immediately removed their belongings outside their dormitories including their mattresses.

Information received by GH Educate indicated that, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, the Minister for Education – Ghana and others visited the school on Monday to console with students on the properties damaged by the fire.
The Minister assured the school that the government is committed to tackling this emergency swiftly, ensuring that students can return to their normal academic activities.
