Ketu North MP Conducts Free Eye Screening and Surgery Exercise for His Constituents

Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, the Member of Parliament for Ketu North, has organized a free eye screening and surgery exercise for his constituents, aimed at improving eye health and providing essential medical assistance to those in need.

According to reports gathered by GH Educate, the initiative spanned a one-week period, offering professional eye care services to residents across the constituency. The exercise provided free screenings, medicated eyeglasses, eye drops, and scheduled surgeries dates for individuals diagnosed with serious eye conditions.

At the end of the exercise, the following outcomes were recorded:

  • Total Persons Screened: 2,619
  • Eye Drops Dispensed: 1,871
  • Medicated Eyeglasses Provided: 775
  • Operable Cases Scheduled for Surgery: 303

Hon. Edem Agbana expressed his profound appreciation to Poll Eye Clinic for their invaluable partnership and medical expertise. He also extended his gratitude to the assembly members, constituency executives, traditional leaders, and all participants who contributed to the success of this life-changing initiative.
