Hon. Muntaka Mubarak Mohammed, the Minister for the Interior of Ghana, has inaugurated the newly constituted 15-member Governing Board of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC).
The 15-member Board is chaired by COP (Rtd.) Bright Oduro.

In a brief address at the event, the Minister charged the Board to intensify the fight against illicit drug trafficking – an organized transnational crime with devastating consequences, particularly on the youth.
He also urged the members to carry out their duties with boldness, humility, and integrity. Hon. Muntaka Mubarak appealed to the Chairman to foster collaboration and inspire excellence within the Board.

The Chairman, COP (Rtd.) Bright Oduro, assured the Minister of the Board’s commitment to enhancing public education efforts and pledged NACOC’s continued dedication to protecting society from the harmful impact of illegal drugs.
