In a passionate and controversial show of loyalty, Appiah Stadium a well known fan of President John Dramani Mahama asserted during an interview with Mugabe Maase on TV XYZ. He declared, “I’d eat Mahama’s faeces for his kindness,” referencing both the former president and his brother, businessman Ibrahim Mahama.
Appiah Stadium’s bold statement though extreme was his way of expressing deep admiration for the Mahama brothers’ consistent humanitarian efforts. He emphasized that their love for ordinary Ghanaians goes beyond politics and positions and deserves his unwavering support.
One of the key acts that sparked this declaration was Ibrahim Mahama’s recent support for Suzzy Pinamang, a second year student at Bantama Adventist SHS in Kumasi. Suzzy was accidentally shot in the forehead by a classmate which has her with serious eye injuries and at risk of losing her vision. After Suzzy’s emotional plea for help went viral, Ibrahim Mahama swiftly intervened. He brought the girl and her parents to Accra and covered her medical care at Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital. Further assessments showed that Suzzy needs surgery abroad and Ibrahim Mahama has reportedly committed to financing all related expenses including travel and treatment.
This selfless gesture has earned widespread praise across Ghana with many celebrating his compassion and quiet philanthropy. Appiah Stadium’s declaration while outrageous in wording reflects the high regard and trust many supporters place in the Mahama family. His comments have since gone viral and has sparked conversations about loyalty, leadership, and the role of the elite in responding to the needs of the vulnerable.
