Ibrahim Mahama Offers to Fully Fund Medical Treatment for SHS Student Shot in the Eye

Ghanaian businessman and philanthropist, Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, has stepped in to support Suzzy Pinamang, the SDA Senior High School student who sustained a severe gunshot injury to her eye months ago.

Mr. Mahama’s intervention comes in response to public concern over the worsening condition of Suzzy’s eye and the urgent need for specialist medical attention. Through his personal assistant, Mr. Mahama, the businessman reached out to the victim’s family and has committed to covering all medical expenses related to her treatment – both in Ghana and abroad.

Suzzy and her family are scheduled to travel from Kumasi to Accra on Monday. They are expected to consult with renowned ophthalmologist Dr. Agarwals at the Dr. Agarwals Eye Clinic, located on J.A. Kuffour Avenue in Accra.

Dr. Agarwals, an Indian eye specialist known for handling complex eye conditions, will assess Suzzy’s case to determine whether her treatment can be effectively carried out in Ghana or will require advanced procedures overseas.

If overseas treatment becomes necessary, Mr. Mahama has pledged to cover all associated costs, including international travel and surgery.
