Former Dome-Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo, says she faced spiritual attacks during her early days in politics and credits her father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo, for protecting her from harm.
She shared that during her first parliamentary contest, some people tried to use her photo and footprints in rituals meant to destroy her. But each time, she said, her father’s spiritual power stopped the attacks.
“Whenever my name was mentioned to summon my soul to harm me, my father would appear,” she revealed. “It happened three times, and each time, he protected me.”
According to her, the spiritualists later told those behind the attacks that the person in the photo was not a woman and that her name could not be used in their shrine.
Aside from her personal story, Adwoa Safo has also recently criticized her party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), accusing some members of corruption. Her comments have stirred tensions within the party.
