The Member of Parliament for Kumawu Constituency, Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, is set to organise a Career Guidance and Orientation Programme for Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates on Friday, 30th May 2025.
The initiative aims to provide final-year junior high school students with crucial career advice, academic direction, and motivation as they prepare to transition to senior high school.

The programme has been structured into two sessions across six locations within the constituency to ensure maximum participation and accessibility.
Morning Session (7:30 AM – 9:30 AM):
Oyoko Methodist Church – serving candidates from Oyoko, Bomeng, and Dadease schools
Banko Presbyterian Church – for students from Banko, Wiawso, Akrofonso, and Sekyere schools
Bodwease Methodist Church – covering schools under the ABA cluster
Afternoon Session (11:00 AM – 2:30 PM):
TK Assembly Hall – hosting candidates from Wonoo, Abotanso, Pepease, and Kumawu
Besoro Salvation Army Church – for students from Besoro, Bahankra, Nkwanta, and Temate
Bodomase Methodist Church – for candidates from Woraso, Aninangya, and Bodomase
The sessions will feature motivational talks, career planning presentations, and interactive Questions & Answers segment designed to help students make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures. Topics will include subject selection, personal discipline, career pathways, and the importance of resilience in achieving long-term goals.

Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, who has prioritised education in his constituency development agenda, stated that the programme is part of his broader effort to empower youth through proactive mentorship and support.
“We want our students to dream big, plan wisely, and understand that the future is theirs to shape. This programme is about giving them the tools and inspiration to do just that,” he said.
