Dr. William Kwame Amankra Appiah is the current Regional Director of Education for the Ashanti Region of Ghana; the largest region in terms of number of schools. He manages over 143 Senior High Schools and over 3000 basic schools.
Dr. Amankra is a professional teacher, an educationist, former lecturer at the University of Ghana, and educational policy advocate.
Dr. Amankra Appiah’s leadership journey in the Ashanti region has been a blessing to the directorate. He is a man full of integrity, fairness, and results.
Dr. Amankra is praised for renovating the two separate storey office buildings within the regional education compound tiling the entire grounds and redecorating the rooms and reception of the office building giving the premises a fresh, dignified, and professional look. This continues to inspire staff and visitors alike.
As he marks another year in his life, GH Educate extends warm wishes to Dr. W.K. Appiah.
