Dr. Randy Anertey Abbey, the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD), has indicated that the Government of Ghana will soon announce a new cocoa price.
According to Dr. Abbey, this yet-to-be-announced cocoa price will reflect current international market trends.
Reports indicate that Dr. Abbey is currently on a three-day tour of the Western North and Western South regions.
Cocoa farmers and buyers are eagerly anticipating the announcement of the new cocoa price.
