Google is bringing a new feature called AI Mode to its Search box. This means you can now ask questions like you’re chatting with someone, and get smart, full answers right inside Google Search.
This new feature has been in testing through Google Labs, but now it’s being made available to more users in the United States. You don’t need to join a waitlist anymore.
What Can the New Google AI Mode Do?
Chat-style Search: You can type full questions in Google Search box and the New AI Mode will respond like a helpful assistant.
More Useful Details: If you ask about a restaurant or shop, Google will now show ratings, reviews, and opening hours.
Shopping Help: Are you looking for a product? Don’t worry, AI Mode will shows you pictures, prices, nearby shops, and even discounts.
Search History: On desktop, you can now see and continue past chats with the AI – so if you were researching something before, you can easily pick it up again.
In trying mode, Google says many people love this new feature, so they want more feedback before making it available to everyone.
