H.E. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, has been hospitalized at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).
This announcement was made through a press release signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu (MP), the Spokesperson for the President and Minister for Government Communications, on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
According to the letter, the Vice President was rushed to UGMC for treatment on Saturday due to a sudden illness that occurred after work on Friday, March 28, 2025.
It was indicated in the letter that Vice President Opoku-Agyemang will seek further care abroad based on expert medical opinion.
The letter wished the Vice President a speedy recovery.
