Ghana’s U-15 National Team has been crowned champions of the 2025 Mondialito Promise Tournament after beating Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-1 in the final match.
Coached by Yaw Preko, the team demonstrated skillful football from start to finish in Israel.
They had a fantastic start with two wins on the opening day and continued their momentum on the second day with a 2-0 victory over Maccabi Petah Tikva.
Ghana’s U-15 then defeated Hapoel Tel Aviv 4-0 to secure their place in the final.
Goals from Robinho Gavi, James Ofori, Ebenezer Adjei, and Abdulai Aziz Issah sealed the win in the final, with Maccabi grabbing a late consolation in the final minute.
It is important to note that Ghana’s winger, John Andor, was declared the Best Player of the Tournament, showcasing his outstanding performance throughout the competition.
