Ghana to Launch Free Tertiary Education Policy for Persons with Disabilities on October 24

The Ghanaian government is set to launch the Free Tertiary Education Initiative for Persons with Disabilities on Friday, October 24, 2025.

According to reports, the launch of the programme will be conducted by Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, the Minister for Education, at the Accra College of Education, at 2:00 p.m.

At the event, the Minister is expected to share with the general public the roadmap for the initiative and explain how prospective persons with disabilities can access the policy.

The Free Tertiary Education for Persons with Disabilities Initiative aims to provide equal access to higher education, particularly for persons with disabilities.
