The Ghana Education Service (GES) has assured teachers across the country that the deadline for the 2025 Teacher Promotion Applications will be extended to allow every eligible applicant to complete the process without difficulty.
According to GES, its main priority is to create a fair and stress-free system where all teachers who have served at least four years in their current rank and are due for promotion can apply without being disadvantaged by technical challenges.
The Service explained that the technical team is working around the clock to restore and improve the Promotion application portal, which has recently experienced some setbacks. Teachers are therefore, encouraged to remain patient while the system is stabilized.
GES has also pledged to notify all applicants immediately the portal is fully restored and ready for submissions. “Every teacher deserves a fair chance at promotion, and no eligible applicant will be left behind,” the Service emphasized.
