Ghana and Barbados open job opportunities for Allied Health Professionals

The Ministry of Health Ghana has announced new international job opportunities for qualified allied health professionals, in partnership with the Government of Barbados.

The move is aimed at giving Ghanaian health workers the chance to gain international experience while contributing their expertise abroad in a highly rewarding professional environment.

Available positions include Cardiac perfusionists, Electrocardiography (ECG) Technicians, Electroencephalographic (EEG) Technologists, Physiotherapists, Audiologists, Diagnostic Radiographers, Occupational Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, and Speech and Language Therapists.

To qualify, applicants must meet the requirements of the Allied Health Professions Council and have at least five years of working experience.

Applicants are also required to submit key documents such as academic certificates, proof of professional standing, curriculum vitae, reference letters, and a valid passport, among others.

The application process begins on 10 April 2026 and closes on 14 April 2026. Interested candidates are to apply through the Ministry of Health’s recruitment portal: https://hr.moh.gov.gh⁠

Officials say only qualified applicants will be contacted, urging candidates to carefully follow all requirements.
