The Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform all stakeholders, particularly trainers and teachers, that the scheduled Data Protection Training has been postponed due to circumstances beyond its control.
Initially planned to take place with tomorrow designated as a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) day, the activity can no longer proceed as scheduled. As a result, the CPD designation for the day has been withdrawn, making it impossible for the training to go on as planned.
Following consultations between the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the National Teaching Council (NTC), a new date has been proposed for the rescheduled training. The training is now expected to take place on Friday, January 23, 2026. All participants are kindly advised to take note of the new date confirmed by GES.
In the meantime, trainers are encouraged to make productive use of this period by further preparing their materials and actively engaging teachers in readiness for the rescheduled session. This additional time presents an opportunity to deepen understanding, refine training strategies, and ensure that the eventual session is impactful and well-coordinated.
KATON, together with its partners, extends its apologies for any inconvenience caused and remains committed to delivering a successful and beneficial Data Protection Training for all teachers.
