The Director General of the Ghana Education Service (GES) Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis together with the Ashanti Regional Director and the Ejisu Municipal Director undertook a monitoring exercise across selected examination centres in the Ejisu Municipality on Wednesday, 12th June 2025 as part of nationwide efforts to ensure the smooth and credible conduct of the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The high-level delegation visited centres to observe the progress of the examination, interact with candidates and invigilators, and ensure that proper supervision and security measures were in place.
The Director General of GES, took the opportunity to inspire, encourage and motivate the candidates and commended the headteachers, teachers, supervisors and invigilators for their professionalism at the examination centres.
“We recognise the hard work you’ve put into preparing for this examination, stay calm, stay focused, and believe in your abilities. This exam is an important milestone, and we are confident you will come through successfully.” Director General.
The Ashanti Regional Director of Education echoed similar sentiments and applauded both Supervisors, invigilators and candidates for the peaceful conduct of the examination.
“We are impressed with the level of organisation and the commitment shown by the Supervisors, invigilators and candidates, continue to stay disciplined and give your best. We believe in your potential and we are proud of your efforts.”
The Director General together with monitoring team expressed overall satisfaction with the state of readiness and discipline observed across all centres. They reaffirmed the GES’s commitment to promoting a culture of academic excellence and integrity in Ghana’s basic education system.
