Dr. Eric Nkansah, the Director General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), had the honor of welcoming Dr. Jarso Marley Jallah, the Liberian Minister of Education, during her official working visit to Ghana. Additionally, Dr. Nkansah outlined the implementation of the GES Management Information System (GES-MIS), a crucial initiative designed to enhance data management and streamline administrative processes within the GES.
He also discussed the introduction of the SMART workplace, an innovative platform that fosters a more efficient and collaborative working environment within the education sector. Another significant policy he shared was the Self-Posting Model for teacher recruitment, a novel approach that focuses on improving the distribution of teachers across the country by allowing them to select their preferred posting locations.
Dr. Jarso Marley Jallah expressed a keen interest in these ongoing reforms and initiatives, particularly those being implemented by the Ghana Education Service.
