The Ghana Education Service has begun inter-regional and inter/intra-district repostings for 2025. The announcement was contained in a letter dated 23 April 2025 titled “Commencement of Inter-Regional and Inter/Intra-District Repostings – 2025” and signed by the Director HRMD at the Headquarters in Accra.
GES Transfers and Assurances 2025
All Regional, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Directors of Education have been directed to start processing reposting requests immediately.
According to the circular:
Application Deadline is set at 3rd June, 2025 by which date all completed applications should have been forwarded to the GES Headquarters in Accra.
How to Apply for GES Reposting (Transfers) 2025
The letter cautions that “No staff member will be released until the Director-General of the service has approved the reposting and issued an official reposting letter”
