Reports suggest that the donation of these laptops is part of Dr. Bawumia’s broader effort to enhance educational resources across Ghana. He emphasized that the laptops are intended to improve teaching and learning activities at the Akropong School for the Blind, particularly in areas such as research and digital literacy. This initiative aligns with Ghana’s ongoing efforts to meet the technological demands of the 21st century and equip students with the necessary skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital world, he said.

In his address, Dr. Bawumia highlighted the importance of integrating modern technology into education to ensure that students with special needs are not left behind in the digital age. He expressed his belief that access to these technological tools would provide the students with valuable opportunities for hands-on practice and learning, thus enhancing their overall educational experience.

The management of the Akropong School for the Blind received the laptops with immense joy and gratitude. The school’s administration and staff expressed their deep appreciation for Dr. Bawumia’s generous contribution, which they believe will make a significant difference in the educational journey of their learners.

Photographs taken during the event reveal the enthusiasm of the students as they prepared to use the new laptops. The images captured their eagerness to engage with the technology, reflecting the positive impact of the donation.

Together, we can achieve greatness as a nation if all talents are carefully harnessed and developed,” Dr. Bawumia emphasized.
