The Ghana Police have arrested three suspects linked to a robbery in the Western Region – and the details are explosive.
The Western Regional Police Command of the Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of three suspects following a robbery incident that took place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Nyanikrom near Shama Junction.
A swift response by officers – who were reportedly on surveillance duty – led to the capture of the suspects and the recovery of a staggering GH¢149,500 in stolen cash.

All three suspects are currently in police custody, assisting with investigations.
A fourth suspect, identified as Maxwell Kofi Yeboah, who reportedly works as a company driver, is said to have conspired with the robbers. He is currently on the run, and the police have launched a manhunt to apprehend him.
