The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has extended the closing date for the manual registration of the First Series of the 2026 WASSCE for Private Candidates.
According to WAEC, the extension has become necessary to assist prospective candidates who were unable to complete their registration within the initial period.
In the statement, WAEC indicated that prospective candidates who could not complete their registration within the earlier stipulated period are required to visit the WAEC Office at Ridge, Accra, or their respective Branch Offices only to finalize their registration during the extended period.
All prospective candidates are advised to take advantage of this opportunity.
The statement further stressed that there will be no further extension of the registration period.
