The Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development has announced that the name of the institution has officially changed to the University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development, Kumasi (USTED).
According to an official communication issued by the Registrar, the change took effect on December 24, 2025, in accordance with Act 1162 (2025).
The announcement informed members of the University community – including the University Council, Academic Board, Management, Faculty, Staff, Students, and other stakeholders that the institution will now operate under its new name.
The University administration has therefore urged both internal and external stakeholders to take note of the change and reflect it accordingly in all official references, communications, and documentation.
The Registrar expressed appreciation to stakeholders for their continued cooperation and support as the institution transitions fully to its new identity.
