As young Christians, we are called to live a life that is pleasing to God and fulfilling to ourselves. However, we often find ourselves stuck in familiar territories, afraid to venture out and explore new grounds. But God wants us to break ground, take new territories, and expand His kingdom.
In Mark 16:15, Jesus commissions us to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” This Great Commission is a call to break ground, take new territories, and share the Good News with those who have not heard it. It requires us to step out of our comfort zones, be bold, and trust God to lead us.
The Bible encourages us in Isaiah 43:19, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” This verse reminds us that God is always doing something new, and He wants us to be a part of it. We must be willing to break ground, take new territories, and follow His leading, even when it seems uncertain or uncomfortable.
As we break ground and take new territories, we must remember that we are not alone. God is with us, empowering us with His Spirit and guiding us with His Word. We must also remember that we are not just taking new territories for ourselves, but for God’s kingdom. We are ambassadors of Christ, called to represent Him in all we do.
Let us rise up, break ground, and take new territories for God’s kingdom. Let us trust God, be bold, and obey His leading, knowing that He is with us every step of the way. We are the next generation of leaders and change-makers for God’s kingdom, and we must take our place in His plan.
