Benjamin Asare joined Hearts of Oak ahead of the 2024/25 season after a strong spell with Accra Great Olympics. His impact was immediate. During the 2024 Homowo Charity Cup, Asare became the hero of the match saving a crucial penalty and scoring the winning goal in the shootout against Heart of Lions. His leadership and skill have not gone unnoticed. Asare recently earned his first call up to the Ghana national team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
