The Ashanti Regional Education Directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has extended an official invitation to all heads of Senior High, Senior High Technical, and STEM schools in the region for the Appreciation and Awards Ceremony of the recently held Ashanti High Schools’ Music Fiesta.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday, 25th July, 2025 at 9:30am at the John Agyekum Kufuor Auditorium, Prempeh College.
In a letter dated 16th July, 2025 and signed by Dr. William Kwame Amankra Appiah, Regional Director of Education for Ashanti, all participating schools are requested to attend the event with their Live Band Music Team Members and Coordinators.
The letter also indicates that the official attire for the day is the event T-shirt, highlighting the relaxed and celebratory nature of the programme, which seeks to honour schools and students for their musical excellence and participation.
This event forms part of the GES’s broader commitment to promoting arts and cultural education in schools, nurturing student talents beyond the classroom.
