The Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC) Department of Agriculture, in collaboration with the Ghana Cocoa Board and the Fisheries Commission, is set to organize the 2025 National Farmers’ Day celebration at Asante Mampong. The 2025 National Farmers’ Day will be celebrated under the theme: Feed Ghana, Eat Ghana, Secure the Future.
The ceremony will take place at the Mampong Difie Square on Friday, 5th December 2025.
Participating MMDAs include Mampong, Ejura-Sekyedumase, Kwabre East, Sekyere South, Sekyere East, Sekyere Central, and Sekyere Kumawu.
The event will be graced by Hon. Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister; Hon. Yakubu Issifu, Municipal Chief Executive – Asante Mampong; Hon. Akwasi Amankwa, District Chief Executive – Sekyere Kumawu; other MMDCEs, government officials, traditional leaders, farmers, among others.
It will be an occasion for the region to celebrate and honour the hardworking farmers and fishers whose dedication continues to support and nourish the nation.
