Central Region Wins Miss GNATLAS 2025 at Ejisu Abankro

Miss GNATLAS Grand Finale 2025 held at Ejisu Abankro in the Ashanti Region

The Central Region emerged winners of the Miss GNATLAS 2025 contest following the Grand Finale held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the GNAT Village (IRIRS), Ejisu Abankro, in the Ashanti Region.

The regional representative, Mary Spiers Asante-Koomson, was crowned Miss GNATLAS 2025, placing first ahead of contestants from the Ashanti and Western Regions, who finished second and third respectively.

The contest formed part of the GNATLAS National Round Table 2025, organised by the Ghana National Association of Teachers Ladies Society (GNATLAS) and powered by the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT).

Madam Spiers from the Central Region further distinguished herself during the contest through additional awards:

The GNATLAS National Round Table 2025 was a three-day seminar held from December 10–12, 2025, under the theme: “The Role of the Female Teacher in GNAT.”

The programme featured:

  • Day 1: Arrival, orientation and briefings
  • Day 2: Opening ceremony, presentations and discussions
  • Day 3: Group discussions and the Miss GNATLAS 2025 Grand Finale

GNATLAS, the women’s wing of GNAT, marks 40 years of service in 2025. The Round Table is held every four years ahead of the GNAT National Delegates Conference.
