Kwame Ntiamoah Ntim Becomes UCC’s 63rd SRC President

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has ushered in a new era of student leadership with the swearing-in of Mr. Kwame Ntiamoah Ntim becoming the 63rd Students’ Representative Council (SRC) President.

The inauguration ceremony which was held at the Academic Board Chamber, attracted students, government officials, dignitaries, and members of the university community. Mr. Ntim officially assumed office after emerging victorious in a keenly contested SRC elections which took place in July, 2025.

He succeeds Abraham Norman Nortey, the immediate-past SRC President.

In addition to Mr. Ntim, seven other elected SRC executives were sworn into office.

The new leadership pledged to offer selfless service, and a renewed commitment to student welfare, academic excellence, and inclusive leadership.
