Ghana is in mourning following the passing of celebrated highlife legend, Charles Kojo Fosu, affectionately known as Daddy Lumba. The iconic musician died peacefully on Saturday, 26th July 2025, after a short illness, his family confirmed in a statement.

The family, through their legal representative Fati Ali Yallah, Esq. of Baba Jamal & Associates, respectfully requested privacy during this difficult time as they come to terms with their loss. Funeral arrangements, they said, will be shared in due course.
