Dr. Nkansah revealed that 21,010 individuals applied, and out of those applicants, 12,784 met all the necessary criteria to qualify. He emphasized the importance of visiting the GES Promotions platform to check qualifications. He stated that the platform will be accessible from Friday, July 5, 2024, to Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

To access the portal, applicants must follow these guidelines:

  1. Log in to the GES Promotions Portal (www.gespromotions.gov.gh).
  2. Enter your college index number.
  3. Enter your telephone number.
  4. Enter your NTC number (for those who have written and passed the NTC exams).
  5. Click the verification button to receive a One Time Password (OTP) to confirm your details.

If an applicant is found successful, they will proceed to select their preferred region, district, and school. Successful applicants are required to print their appointment letters and take them to the regional education offices for validation. This validation process involves presenting the Ghana Card and other relevant information and documents.

It is important to note that the appointment letters printed have QR codes to verify their authenticity.

Dr. Nkansah highlighted that the newly introduced self-recruitment module aims to reduce the bottlenecks that have historically plagued the recruitment process. He explained that this module is designed to be easy, simple, and faster for all applicants, streamlining the process significantly.
