UCC prison scholarship

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has graduated 63 inmates from Nsawam Medium Security Prison through its College of Distance Education (CoDE). This initiative, in collaboration with the Ghana Prisons Service and Plan Volta Initiative, aims to reform and rehabilitate inmates through higher education.
