Introduction to School Leadership
What is school leadership? School leadership refers to the process of influencing and guiding teachers, students, and stakeholders towards achieving educational goals. Effective leadership is vital for school improvement, quality education delivery, and the holistic development of learners. In Ghana, school leaders – including headteachers, assistant heads, and departmental heads – play a crucial role in promoting effective teaching, learning, and administration within their schools.
